False alarm

Thank you all for your very kind words.

Guess what. We are going home. They did the harvest, and they were not happy with the blood vessels of the donor liver so they turned down the liver. So we will walk home and see if there is a all night pizza joint open. I think Nancy and I are going to take the rest of the day off.

Well, now we know the procedure!

Dan, I am sorry about the false alarm. By the way, hi, I am the step mom of Tiffanie Reyes Washington. She was a good friend of Ann’s in High school. She passed about a year and a half ago from Leukemia. She was waiting for a bone marrow transplant when her cancer came back. Now Her Dad is getting ready to see about getting on the kidney transplant list. Just wanted to stop by and tell you that you have a wonderful daughter and the cutest little grand daughter who says the darndest things! Your family is in my prayers. Deb

Is it OK to say DAMN? We’re with you in knowing the right one will come along….but we also know, waiting isn’t easy.
Of course we will continue to keep all of you in our prayers. And as far as that REAL N.Y> Sausage pizza….I’m continuing my mission to find a pizza olace that will cooperate and deliver it to you as soon as your doctors say it is OK! (I’m sure it will take more than 30 minutes, but I am also sure, It Will Taste Much BETTER! (Especially after what you guys call “Chicago Style” pizza
    There is NO comparison!!!!!! 🙂

    Love to you all,
    Louise & Jim

Can I say DAMN! Oh we know the right one will come…but it is the waitong game again for you. You guys will still be in our prayers as you always are. As for the REAL N.Y. Italian Sausage Pizza…it just gives me a little more time to continue my mission to find a “pizza place” in NY that will deliver one to you. We will have it there as soon as your doctors give the All Clear!
Yes, it will take more than 30 minutes…but it is more than worth the wait…especially after what You Guys call “Chicago Style” pizza!

We hope it all happens for you very soon…because once you taste THIS pizza…what You had to go through to get one is well worth it!!!!!!!!! 🙂

    With our love & prayers,
    Louise & Jim

I’m feeling bad for your build-up/let down. Maybe God didn’t want this liver for you. May he give you peace in the acceptance of this turn of events.
    Best wishes always,

Hi Dan and Nancy, I am so sorry, Dan, for the pins and needles you are both enduring. I was nervous all day, wondering if this was IT! Always a bridesmaid, never a bride. Awful unknowing pressure I would spare you if I could. At least Chicago has great pizza. Love, Kirsti
